This is an old alpha version of OtherWorld. The real OtherWorld is here.

So why is this old version still up? After the first round of play testing, it was clear that OtherWorld would benefit from redesign. That redesign made major changes to how the game works.

This old version of OtherWorld is kept around as a curiosity. In it, you do not tell your adventurers what to do. Instead, adventurers are created with motivations, and they make up their own minds about which jobs to take and what adventures to go on.

If you are curious, feel free to play this old version of OtherWorld. It has enough content to keep characters busy up through level 12. But if you want to experience the real OtherWorld, click here.

OtherWorld: Ready When You Are

OtherWorld is a free browser game, no download needed. Players make adventurers who explore their world and report back about what they've been up to.

It's great for people who want a few minutes of distraction once in a while. Or you can spend as much time as you like watching adventures unfold, arranging friendships for your adventurer, buying and selling gear, buffing friends, and seeing what other adventurers are up to.

Take a minute to make an adventurer. Give him a few motivations, and let him go. Check back in a while to see what he did, learned, and gained.

Unlockables! As your highest level adventurer advances, you can make more adventurers. By the time one of your characters reaches 12th level, you can have 3 characters going.
